Cinderella’s spirits are elevated by the mysterious Fairy Godmother
Cinderella, by Rodgers & Hammerstein, performs one night only on Friday, May 4th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Shaw High School, 15320 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland, Ohio, 44112.
Tanisha Little, a junior at Shaw, plays the title role in this “enchanted” musical version of the classic story. Little is wooed by Prince Christopher (Amahn Charles, 8th grade) while being tormented by her evil stepmother (junior Gabrielle Knight) and the bickering stepsisters (juniors Uniquia Humphries and Traylee Little).
The Prince is aided by his Royal Steward (freshman Immanuel Scruggs) who takes his orders from the Queen and humble King (seniors Tiara Turner and Fernando Jackson).
Cinderella’s spirits are elevated by the mysterious Fairy Godmother (junior Latrecia Calhoun) and a menagerie of animals that eventually bring Cinderella together with the Prince forever! Vocal and orchestral direction by Mrs. Al Madison; drama and technical direction by Mr. John Dutton. For tickets and more information call (216) 268-6500.
