I am saddened to see another part of downtown close and hope that they will find other locations to open and continue to do business. We need both stores in the city to do well. It would not be the same getting a brim from Burlington as it was from a true hat store like the Mad Hatter.

So being a business owner can be a great investment, if you have the ability to take a few dollars and make it make more dollars for you. Make sure you have all the right tools to do the right job.

One advantage of owning your own can be turning up your surround sound system as loud as you want. Imagine any great movie or concert on your television, enjoying it without having the landlord telling you to turn it down.

I would never want to be in court fighting against any of my friends about money or anything else. Friendship is something special, and not everyone can be in a friend’s circle. You may know a lot of people, but how many are truly friends that you would ride or die for?

Ohio is currently not a common law state but Ohio only recognizes common law marriage if you were together before Oct. 10, 1991.

Now, along with cell phones, social media is the happening thing for both young and old. Grandparents are getting on to see and talk to grandchildren. Young people are getting on to play games and show off their pictures. Technology has come a long way!
