Dining for Change at TAVO Martini Loft & Restaurant on Rockwell.
A unique night out for great causes was recently held at TAVO Martini Loft &Restaurant on Rockwell. It was a colorful networking event for cosmetology professionals.
The great causes and charities supported by those attending are National Cosmetology Association's (DCA) Disaster Relief Fund, "Cut it Out" (Salons Against Domestic Violence), and "Look Good... Feel Better"
Hostess for the occasion was Kim Thomas, chairwoman, Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and proprietor of Christopher Amira Salon on Shaker Square. Danita Harris, WEWS TV 5 news anchor was the personable mistress of ceremonies.
Guests enjoyed an evening of networking and fellowshipping while making a difference for others. They enjoyed heavy hors d'oeurves and liquid refreshments. Special guest was Jim Trakas, executive director, Ohio State Board of Cosmetology.
