Join the Horseshoe for a special day of fun and games

CLEVELAND - Starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, people can test their luck on 12/12/12 and enter a drawing to win a share of $30,000 in free slot play at the Horseshoe Casino in downtown Cleveland.

At 9 p.m., one lucky winner will receive $12,012 in free slot play.

According to the Horseshoe Casino's website, you can "receive one free entry by swiping your Total Rewards® at a promotional kiosk beginning at 5 p.m."

NewsChannel5 checked with local hospitals to see if any babies were born on 12/12/12. A spokesperson for UH Hospitals said early Wednesday morning, two women were in labor. Also, Akron General Hospital said they expected a patient to give birth on 12/12/12 .

Across the country, some have decided to walk down the aisle on this once in a century date. According to David's Bridal, an estimated 7,500 people in the United State will tie the knot on 12/12/12.
