Camilia Terry, the 20-year-old mother of Emilliano Terry, appeared before Judge Pinkey Carr Thursday morning in Cleveland Municipal Court.
Terry did not plea during her arraignment. Prosecutors asked for a high bond because her toddler Emilliano suffered from blunt force trauma to the head, skull fractures and they claim she is a flight risk.
Terry waived a hearing and a preliminary hearing will be held on Dec. 6.
The judge handed down a $2 million bond cash surety and said Terry is to have no contact with her children by any means.
Terry has been charged with murdering her toddler. Police said in a news conference Wednesday she has a lawyer and has stopped speaking with them.
Judge Carr was the prosecutor who help convict serial killer Anthony Sowell
