Case Western Reserve University student robbed

Cleveland_police_car_350Police described the suspect as a dark skinned black male in his late teens, standing approximately 5’8”.


CLEVELAND - Case Western Reserve University police issued an alert after a student was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.

 

According to the alert, the robbery happened at about 9:25 p.m. on Wade Park Avenue between Mistletoe and East 115th Street.

 

Police said the student was walking when he was approached by a man on a dark colored bicycle who asked for money.

 

The man then followed the student a short distance before pulling out a black revolver and demanding the student’s valuables.

 

After taking the items, the suspect then pedaled away from the area.

 

Police described the suspect as a dark skinned black male in his late teens, standing approximately 5’8”. He was last seen wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt and dark colored athletic shorts.

 

No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery.
