Overnight shooting in garden Valley

Police say one woman was shot on Cleveland's east side. 

The shooting took place on Sunday morning at 6:18 a.m. on the 7500 block of Garden Valley Avenue.

An early investigation indicates that a couple were arguing out side of the woman's apartment. Then Charvezz Smith, 21, heard several shots and felt a pain in her chest realizing she had been shot.

Police found out that several parties were occurring in the building at the time of the shooting.

Two men have been arrested on warrants and three men for obstruction of official business.

Smith is being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest at MetroHealth Medical Center.
