WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH- Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) is pleased to announce that 100 employers have confirmed their participation in the “For the People” Job Fair at Cleveland State University on August 8, 2011. The employers have in excess of 2,500 job openings at all skill levels and in a broad range of employment sectors, including manufacturing, health care, service, retail, hospitality and the public sector.

“The biggest obstacle to our nation's prosperity right now is the lack of jobs. The economic recovery has failed to reach many segments of our community. Unemployment stands at 8.8% in Cuyahoga County.  The reported rate among African Americans is a staggering 16.2%. By bringing this Job Fair to Cleveland, I want to give the people of my district the opportunity to get back to work, " said Congresswoman Fudge.
