Man kicks in front door: On April 4, around 9:15 p.m., during an intense argument with a woman in the 2900 block of Abbots Cove Blvd., a man kicked in the front door of her apartment and began pushing and shoving her around.
Woman bites police: On April 9, about 5:55 p.m., after a horrendous struggle by family members on East Whitter Street to calm down a woman who was out of control, police were called in. After subduing her, the officers were placing her in the squad car, she turned and grabbed an officer and bit him on his right arm. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Shooter had a shotgun in his car: After a physical altercation on April 9, around
7 p.m. a 16 year old boy on South Napolean Avenue went to a car and took out a shotgun and opened fire, hitting three people. All three people were taken to an area hospital and are listed in stable condition.
Don’t know the man that shot him: On April 9, around 8:03 p.m., two men at a bar on East Hudson and Parkwood Avenue got in a fight and during the confrontation an unknown man pulled a gun and shot the other. The victim drove himself to another location and then was taken to the hospital were his injury was treated.
Man shot in his behind: On April 10, about 1:15 a.m., police responded to a fight at the Grown Folks Lounge on East 5th Avenue, where a clash between a man and three other people had occurred. Police found a 23 year old man, who had been shot in his butt. The man was taken to Grant Hospital where he is expected to recover.
Woman shoots neighbors: On April 10, around 8:19 p.m., a 29 year old man and a woman, age 28, were both shot after a serious neighborhood dispute in the 600 block of Gilbert Street. The victims were taken to an area hospital. A 22 year old woman was arrested and charged with two counts of Felonious Assault in that incident.
Serious car crash on Morse Road: On April 10, around 8:15 p.m., there was a serious car crash on I-270 and Morse Road, where 3 people were injured. Two females were treated at the scene and a man was taken to Grant Hospital with severe injuries.
Drive by Shooting, after leaving Club: At 12:58 p.m., on April 10, police responded to a triple shooting in the 1200 block of Dublin Grantville Road. It was reported by three men that they had been shot after a fight in the Club 161. They were shot when someone in a car followed them as they walked over to the gas station.

Drunk and being disruptive: On April 7, around 7:20 a.m., it was reported that an intoxicated resident in a group home on Franklin Avenue was threatening people and being disruptive.
Silent alarm at Tavern: Around 7:25 a.m., on April 7, a silent alarm was received from a bar on Detroit Avenue. A few minutes later there was a call back to disregard, it was an employee.
911 Hang up calls: Around 7:30 a.m., there were several emergency calls from an address in the 11400 block of Glenboro Drive. A unit was dispatched to that location
Two Rottweiler’s running lose: On April 7, about 7:37 a.m. there several calls reporting that there were two huge Rottweilers running lose near 141st and Miles Avenue.
Doctor receiving threat calls: On April 7, around 7:50 a.m., a Dr. at Metro Hospital called and reported that they had received several threatening phone call that morning.
Traffic Light stuck on red: It was reported on April 7, at 6:54 a.m., by passerby’s that the traffic light at Fulton Road Bridge was stuck on red.
Mother threatening to stab daughter: Around 8:20 a.m., on April 7, there was a call received from an address on the 4300 block of Wichita Avenue reporting that a mother was threatening to stab her daughter with a knife.
Woman hurt in a fight: Around 8:24 a.m., on April 7, there was a call received from an address in the 18100 of Euclid Avenue, reporting that a woman had been injured in a fight and she also needed emergency help.
Trying to set the building on fire: On April 7, around 8:30 a.m., it was reported that a woman might be high on PCP and she was trying to light a building on fire at a location in the 2000 block of St.Clair Avenue.
Man suspected of illegal activity: A call was made on April 7, around 8:32 a.m., that a man with a pit bull had entered a vacant house near 83rd and Goodman Avenue for what looked to be suspicious activity.
Dumped trash on neighbor’s lawn: An angry caller on in the 4300 block of Redding Road, reported on April 7, about 7:54 a.m., that she woke and found the neighbor had dumped trash all over her lawn the night before. There is a history of feuding.
Junkyard dog chasing people: About 7:58 a.m., on April 7, there were several reports that a lose Pit Bull was chasing people around 143rd near Cain Avenue and the dog was headed back for the junkyard on Miles. Animal control was sent out.
Mother and stepfather fighting: On April 7, about 8:02 a.m., a caller from the 3500 block of Longwood Avenue reported that their mother and stepfather were fighting.
Burglar alarm house on Kinsman: Around 7:30 a.m., on April 8, a burglar alarm was received that someone had entered the downstairs unit of a house in the 9100 block of Kinsman Avenue.
Someone using wrong pass code: On April 8, about 7:40 a.m., a silent alarm was received that someone was using the wrong pass code trying to get into a house located in the 16100 block on Pomeroy Avenue.
Woman beating up family members: I was reported on April 8, around 7:45 a.m., that a woman in a house near 131st and Beachwood Avenue was there and fighting other family members.
Man watched thief steal his SUV: A call was received on April 8, around 7:49 a.m., that an owner of a vehicle on Sandusky Avenue had watched a man pulling out of his driveway with his SUV, and that he had followed him to a house near 112th and Nelson, were the thief jumped out and was running south bound through backyards.
Police caught the car thief.
Heavy smell of gas: April 8, about 8:22 a.m., a unit called and reported a heavy smell of gas near the downtown, West 3rd ramp, and requested that the fire department investigate where the odor was coming from.
Alarm, somebody in the dinning room: On April 8, around 8:52 a.m., an alarm was received from a house in the 4100 block of Bridge Avenue that someone was detected walking around in the dinning room.

3 calls made about loud noise on Helmsdale: On March 30, at 12:46, 1:09 and 1:56 in the morning calls came in from neighbors about a woman on Helmsdale playing her music way too loud. The third time police arrive and cited the woman for violating the cities noise ordinance.
Scared burglar runs leaving his tools: On March 30, around 3:25 p.m., there was an attempted break into a home in the 1000 block of Greyton Road. However the burglar was probably scared off, and ran away leaving behind his burglar tools in the yard.
Mother kicked daughter out the house: On March 30, at 3:29 p.m., a young woman called and reported that her mother had caused a disturbance and had kicked her out of their house Greyton Road.
Man caught burglar hiding in his garage: On April 30, about 6:02 p.m., a man called from a Euclid Heights Blvd. and reported that a guy had broken into his garage and was hiding. Police arrived and arrested the thief.
Husband and wife arguing: At 11:24 a.m. there was a call from an address on Severance Circle Drive that a husband and wife were having a loud argument. Police arrived and the couple worked out their issue.
Shoplifter caught at Home Depot: On April 31, around 4 p.m., a shoplifter was caught and detained by Home Depot loss prevention. When police arrive the man was taken to Huron Hospital for a psychological evaluation instead of taking him to jail.
Man on Oxford Road jumped on his wife: On April 31, around 8: 44 p.m., a call was received from a woman on Oxford Road who reported that her husband had jumped on her. As she was making the report the dispatcher could hear the man hollering and arguing in the background. Police arrived and arrested the husband for domestic violence.
University Heights
Relative fighting over pizza: Around 4:19 a.m., on April 29, a call was received from an address in the 13500 area of Cedar Road by a woman who said that her uncle had kicked her in the neck and choked her. The caller stated that the fight started because she told the uncle he had to wash his hands before he could break off a piece of the pizza. The uncle also pulled out her hair extensions during the fight.
Car window smashed and a wallet was taken: On April 30, around 7:55 a.m., there was a call from an address on Ashurst Road by a man who said that his car window had been smashed and his wallet was stolen which contained $ 50.00, a bus pass, his Visa card and some other personal information.
Distasteful April Fools joke by brother: On April 1, around 6:30 p.m., a man called and reported that someone had broken into his car while he was at work and stole his IPOD, a battery charger, and his entertainment system. The man later called and told police that his brother had used a spare key and played an April Fools joke on him.
Girls’ stealing while mother was shopping: Unbeknownst to a mother who was shopping in Targets, the woman’s juvenile daughter and her friend was stealing jewelry as she shopped. The daughter was turned over to her mother and the other juvenile had to wait for her father to come and get her.
Man hit girlfriend with Tarantula Tequila Bottle: On April 3, around 4 in the morning, a woman and her boyfriend argued after they left the Best Kept Secret Bar on South Taylor Road. The woman reported that her boyfriend elbowed her in the face, punched her little son in his jaw, and hit her in the forehead with an empty Tarantula Tequila bottle. He ripped out the telephone cord when she tried to call police. The man was arrested for domestic violence.
