SUNDAY

Fresh Wind Ministry will have their regular service with Pastor Brad A. Pratt bringing forth the word of God. The service starts at 4 p.m. The congregation will be in their new location at7035 Lexington Avenue. For more information call (216) 659-3675.

Euclid Avenue Congregational Church UCC, under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Courtney Clayton Jenkins, is holding their regular Sunday worship services atFirstUnitedMethodistChurch,3000 Euclid Avenue andEast 30th Street. Service starts at 10 a.m.

 

First Community Missionary Baptist Church, 7004 Wade Park Avenue, will have “Three Nights of Word and Worship” service on January 9th, 10th and 11th, 2013. Services begin at 7 p.m. each night with the guest evangelists: Rev. Dr. Carl Small, pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Elyria, Ohio, and Rev. Dr. Tellis J. Chapman, pastor of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church of Detroit, Michigan. Reverend Small seeks to minister to the total person, a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural ministry impacting the world in which we live with the uncompromising message of Jesus Christ. Reverend Chapman is a very dynamic individual and one of the more charismatic leaders and devoted Baptist ministers in the Greater Metropolitan Detroit area. He also serves in the capacity of president of the Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention of Michigan and Board of Directors of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.  Please come out and share in these uplifting experiences.  We will also have guest musical personalities each night.

You must have a ticket for this concert but they are free. Tickets will be available on January 2, 2013 at 9:00 AM by calling the ticket office at 216-231-1111. There is a limit of 2 tickets per household. They are asking for a donation of non-perishable items.  See the attached flyer for more details.

Monday, January 21, 2013- Freedom Train – 3:00 PM

AntiochBaptistChurch,8869 Cedar Avenue, Presents the L.O.V.E Ensemble under the direction of JoAnn Moore, and her assistant Darren Meadows, in a original play written by Joyce M. Meadows, “A Train Called Freedom”. This service is free but you will need a ticket to attend. Please see the attached flyer for more details on ticket locations.

Martin Luther King. Jr., Community Day – Free and no tickets required. There will be various performances through out the day. Dr. Regennia N. Williams and the Spiritual Gifts Gospel Choir will be performing for a half-hour.
