Call and Post’s feature game-of-the-week – #7 Cleveland Heights vs. Toledo St. John’s Jesuit – 7 p.m.
Last season is gone for the Cleveland Heights Tigers. And what a last season they had. It was very historic. They finished a school-best 9-0 and hosted their first-ever playoff game against St. Edward. Tigers’ head coach Jeff Rotsky said this training camp has been the best. “The battles are going on the field as players are getting it done.” Big teams are lining up to play the Tigers and their first test will be Toledo St. John’s Jesuit. However, the Tigers are getting on the bus. “It is great that a team of that prestige wants to play us at our home turf. It is great for the fans and the community.”
The community was electrified in their playoff game against St. Edward. There were no seats in the house. It was standing room only. And this is what they are going to look for on Aug. 24. The Titans have more than 10 consecutive winning seasons.
