The Cleveland Cavaliers withstood a furious comeback from the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night and posted a 93-92 victory.
Even as close as it was the win at the Q gave Minnesota its first loss of the year which is outstanding for the Cavs..
A Kevin Love layup with :38 left brought the Timberwolves to within one point, 93-92.
Following a missed step back jumper by Kyrie Irving, the Timberwolves had one last shot, but a Kevin Love long shot was no good and Jarrett Jack gathered in the clutch rebound to ice the one point win.
The Cavs are trying to be ready for the playoffs but seem to have to get more points on the board to be able to pull away from their opponents.
Love had a double-double, scoring 17 points and pulling down 13 boards while Kevin Martin led the visitors with 23 points.
