Cavs lose to Wizards

The Cleveland Cavaliers are struggling doing the early times of trying to get together and become better on the hardwood. Losing Wednesday night to the Washington Wizards 101-82 regardless to the Cavs star Kyrie Irving who scored 19 points, Tristan Thompson, had a double-double. He popped in 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Coach Mike Brown has to become more effective since this is his second tour of duty.

The Cavs need to score more and play better defense if they plan on being successful in this 2013-2014 season.

Bradley Beal of the Wizards led all scorers with 21 points as Washington shot 46 percent from the field to only 39 percent for the Cavs. A big chunk of the Washington scoring came from beyond the three-point arc, as the Wizards made 15 of 28 bombs for 53 percent.

Cleveland second half was terrible. The Cavs must play all four quarters. The final preseason game is Thursday in Charlotte. The season opener is Wednesday, October 30 at Quicken Loans Arena against the Brooklyn Nets.
