Tribe outfielder Michael Brantley has been a spark for the tribe.

The Indians beat the Astros, 3-1, on Sunday, behind Trevor Bauer’s 9 strikeouts. By taking the final two of this quick three-game homestand, the Indians are 4-0-1 in the club’s last five series.

Bauer pitched 6-plus innings, striking out 9 Astros batters while allowing only four hits. The outing marked the second time this season Bauer has struck out 9 or more (10, 7/13 vs. CWS) and the sixth time he’s struck out 8 or more this season.

Carlos Santana had a sac fly (scoring Michael Bourn), Lonnie Chisenhall an RBI single (scoring Mike Aviles, who doubled) and Jose Ramirez an RBI single (scoring Chisenhall, who singled). Ramirez, who had the game-winning hit in Saturday night’s victory, went 3-for-4 and is hitting .444 (8-of-18) over his last five games.
