Michelle Obama attends East View Church

Former First Lady Michelle Obama attended Sunday services at the East View United Church of Christ in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where the pastor is the Rev. Jeremy Wanton II. While in Northeast Ohio promoting her best selling book “Becoming” Mrs. Obama made worship a priority as she joined the members and friends at the East view United Church of Christ. Pastor Wanton and the members of East View welcomed Mrs. Obama and were honored by her presence.

On Saturday prior to attending worship services, Mrs. Obama stopped by the Keybank State Theatre in promotion of “Becoming.” The next stop on the tour will be in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday.

As we celebrate ‘women’ during the month of March and beyond, we appreciate the powerful presence of our Former First Lady in the City of Cleveland. Her presence represented yet another touch of elegance, sophistication and inspiration to the thousands of elegant, sophisticated and inspiring women who already reside right here in the City of Cleveland.
