We must educate ourselves, my fellow Americans, about the phenomenal ingenuity of the remarkable ideology of white supremacy hate, violence and control system. A fundamental component of the chains which continue to handicap the white woman’s mind and handicap the entire race of black minds is the excessive and distorted information about white (male dominance) people, and the total absence of information about ourselves as black people. European-American people have done an admirable job of insuring that the content of their consciousness was well informed about their greatness. Knowledge of self, to ensure that they maintain their consciousness of who they are.
The elimination of white racism is not a necessary prerequisite for the liberation of the African mind. European-American consciousness is based on its affirmation of greatness and superiority in contrast to the inferiority and wretchedness of Africans. This is a false security built into white supremacist culture. Black people must understand that our ultimate mental liberation must be guided by our independent action and activity. Certainly, the obstacles created by white supremacist institutions and attitudes cause great difficulties in the march to black mental liberation. It is evident after all of these centuries that it is unrealistic to expect this European-American white supremacist mentality is going to disappear anytime soon.
In their effort to imitate the white people, these educated black people are sincere, they hope to make the black people conform quickly to the standard of the whites and thus remove the pretext for the barriers between the races.
But unfortunately, they do not know anything about the people who they are trying to imitate… Causasianism – is the teaching – Caucasian is the race of people.
However, they do realize that even if they are successful in making black imitate the whites, nothing new has thereby been accomplished. You simply have a larger number of persons doing what others have been doing. What are we going to do about these black people?
The educated black, playing the game of imitation without really knowing what he is imitating, goes forth to play his part in life, but he must be both social and bi-social at the same time, while he is part of the body politic, he is in addition to this, a member of a particular race to which he must restrict himself in all matters social and political. While he is serving his country, he must serve within a special group. While being a good American, he must above all things, be a good black and to perform this definite function he must learn to stay in a “black people’s place.”

Risk is the name, life is the game, create, develop and test new ideas with innovative and imaginative passion which dictates success and accepts no failure. There is no guarantee, self-confidence, faith in God, believing in people, will ensure your success.
