Taste of the Browns, a Winner

Cleveland Browns did not do much scoring on Sunday, but on Monday, they were a winner with “The Taste of the Browns”. The entire Browns organization, the fans, the sponsors, restaurants and everyone who participated in this wonderful affair made the 21st Annual Taste of the Browns a success. In their 21-year history, we all joined the fight against hunger in Northeast, OH.

The Taste of the Browns benefits the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is celebrating their 40th Anniversary.

“We are thrilled that this year’s Taste of the Browns is sold out and even more excited for what this means for tackling hunger,” said Kristin Warzocha, President and CEO of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. “Last year we were able to provide 1.2 million meals from this event and we look forward to surpassing that goal and providing even more meals to hungry men, women and children in six local counties.”

Some of the Browns players past and present attended this event. Jarvis Landry, served as a honorary co-chair along with Josh Cribbs who has a brand new hit show along with his lovely wife Maria called “CRIBBS in the CLE: Josh and Maria Live” which airs on channel 19 and 43. Chef Rocco of Whalen of Fahrenheit, and Rosie Rocco’s was a co-chair also.

The sold out crowd started the evening by sampling fabulous foods and wines. Restaurants like EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute with chef Brandon Chrostowski, Hecks Café, Flour Restaurant & Flour Pasta Company, Giant Eagle Market District, Orlando’s Bakery, Market Garden Brewery, Johnny’s Downtown and many more had everything to satisfy your taste buds.

As the crowd mingled, there was a silent auction. They auctioned everything from a Baker Mayfield jersey to Cleveland Indians baseball tickets.

Thanks to all of the sponsors and quarterback sponsors and Medical Mutual who sponsored the VIP Lounge for making this another memorable event.

“Every dollar raised will help provide four nutritious meals,” said Warzocha. Kudos once again this year to the Cleveland Food Bank, because working together works!
